Summer heat getting you weary? Never fear, Australia’s largest comedy festival is back on tour to bring you the freshest and funniest acts! This week, get yourself down to the KC Arts Centre for the 2017 edition of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow!
From sketches to song, physical comedy to standup, you’ll be guffawing from start to end with this year’s incredible line-up, featuring the very best of both Australia and the international world. Check out American sketch superstars the Pajama Men as they wow the crowd with their award-winning surreal improv act, before the razor-sharp yet relatable Nath Valvo comes to share his hilarious stories about daily life.
Next up, prepare yourselves for star of Whose Line Is It Anyway Australia Susie Youssef with her memorable character sketches and unforgettable standup. Classic, affable Aussie comedian Daniel Connell follows right after, with desert dry observational humour that hits you out of nowhere, leaving you in stitches. Finally, end off the show with Penny Greenhalgh, a master of the most unpredictable physical comedy as she drags audiences into her wacky world (yes, that means audience participation!)
The already stellar line-up will also be joined by Singapore’s very own Jinx Yeo in a special guest spot. Jinx is one of Asia’s fastest rising comedy stars, ushering in a new height of comedy with effortless delivery and hard-hitting punchlines. This July, make a date for a side-splitting night out with the 2017 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, as these funnymen and women prepare to bring the house down with endless peals of laughter and the most innovative of comedy.
The Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2017 takes place at the KC Arts Centre from 13th – 15th July. Tickets available here
