Shopping Nation: PUMA X Les Benjamin Team Up For Second Collection; Unveils The New Cali

PUMA and LES BENJAMIN team up for the second time to create a hike-inspired collection with rugged outdoor elements and intricate, techy detailing. LES BENJAMINS, an Istanbul-based designer brand founded by Bunyamin Aydin, has quickly established itself in streetwear scene through merging cultural heritage with contemporary design and rich textures.

The styles are infused with PUMA’s sport heritage and LES BENJAMIN’s versatile influences to celebrate endless exploration into the unknown. Featuring digital prints, artisanal textures and techy, yet comfortable details, the PUMA X LES BENJAMINS collection is made to explore whether traversing through the rough nature or strolling around the big city streets. The PUMA X LES BENJAMINS collab includes different packs of sneakers with bold graphics as well as rubberized materials and finishes. As continuation of the eye-catching oriental rug pattern from the first collection, the carpet inspired prints are presented this time as blocked elements.

PUMA X LES BENJAMINS Cell Alien in white and black with neon details and the vibrant blue formstrip is adorned with logo embroidery on the back, rubber patch and black coloured mesh tongue with textile webbing.

Completing the perfect exploration look, the collection also includes accessories like beanies, multi-functional bags and matching apparel which includes hoodies, tops, tees and track pants.

Meanwhile, PUMA has also engaged superstar Selena Gomez to front the campaign for the upgrade to the PUMA Cali sneaker – the PUMA CALI Chase.

In the same spirit of the original 1980’s California shoe, the modern interpretation stays true to its white leather upper but features a modern twist through its progressive rubber tooling. This kick takes advantage of the large PUMA branding on the midsole whilst the bold neon-coloured formstrip adds excitement to the design with an edgy stacked sole and high-energy hues.

The PUMA X LES BENJAMINS collection ranges from SGD$79 to SGD$219 and will be available from 5 October onwards at PUMA Bugis+, ION Orchard, Jewel Changi Airport, TANGS and PUMA SELECT at MBS. 

The PUMA CALI Chase in PUMA White Nrgy-Rose colour retails at SGD$159 and will be available from 19 October onwards at PUMA Bugis+, Century Square, ION Orchard, JEM, Jewel Changi Airport, PUMA SELECT at MBS, Paragon, Suntec City, Vivocity and PUMA.COM.
