This weekend, creative space and art studio Supper House is gearing up for a busy second half of 2023 with a brand new exhibition opening this Saturday – 七彩.
七彩, which translates to ‘Seven Colours’ and immediately harkens to the idea of the rainbow and celebrating individual identity, is a group show that features the work of artists Tee Hao Wei (Owen), Joanne Lim, Sai Hua Kuan, Andrea Danker, Samuel Xun, YiMing Chen, Chloe Shannon Lim, Chia Ching Kai, Siew Guang Hong, Clarice Jocelyn Tjahyadi, and Michael Lee.
These 10 artists have created work that respond to the theme, as they explore concepts of unique personalities, and what one’s own identity means to one’s self, where each individual hue could symbolise something completely different, whether a shade of blue, or a splash of gold.
Over half of these artists are exhibiting at Supper House for the first time, each with their own styles and mediums, and have been encouraged to explore what the colours that make up their craft, their ideals, and their practice. Come visit Supper House, and celebrate these artists, their love and their identities at 七彩 .
七彩 runs from 17th June to 9th July 2023, 12-7pm at Supper House, 222 Tagore Lane, Unit 04-03, Singapore 787603. More information available on their Instagram
