Golden Village (GV) has announced the reopening of its GV Grand cineplex located at Great World City. The cineplex has undergone renovations after temporarily closing its doors to the public in February this year. GV Grand at Great World, located in the central area of Singapore surrounded by a mixture of deluxe serviced apartment towers & professional offices. 

The brand new vibe kicks in as soon as patrons enter the foyer, with a brand new cafe on the side. The warm oak soaks in with the wall lamp projecting soft sun beams to the stripped panel wall and the radiant mirror feature. The kiosk and snack bar area has been transformed to match the café side by side, dressed up with herringbone wooden tiles with classic wooden stripe and round corner mouldings, giving a modern yet classic vibe. From kiosk to café, GV Grand boasts a warm and relaxing atmosphere, leading up to the staircase as a transition to the darker colours of the hallways. The contrasting colours differ from the foyer which allows the audience to slowly divert their emotions gradually ready for the movie.

The refurbished GV Grand will offer its patrons a choice of five halls, two of which are Gold Class halls, an increase from just one previously as GV moves forward to meet the demands of patrons to offer more premium options. The new Gold Class halls will feature brand new leatherette seats and accommodate up to 48 patrons. 

With the reopening of GV Grand, GV will also be offering its new Gold Class dining menu, especially curated with more cuisine options to fit the taste of Singaporeans. The new menu comprises Asian and Western selections of both delectable appetisers such as juicy, crispy wings, mushroom croquettes and cheeky beef cubes and main courses such as a chicken katsu burger, crab-tastic nasi goreng and seafood marinara linguine.

With more focus on creating holistic experiences that are luxurious yet affordable, GV hopes to continue to attract more patrons into their halls by continuing to offer a diverse range of exciting movie-going experiences. Having doubled the number of Gold Class halls at GV Grand and introducing new selections in their Gold Class menu, GV is committed to always delivering their promise of ‘More than Just a Movie’.
