Cirque du Soleil’s absence is never felt for long, returning to Singapore time and again with more fantastic gravity-defying, mesmerizing performances. This time around, they’re back with KOOZA, an intimate affair presented at a specially set up big top near Marina Bay Sands.
Derived from the Sanskrit word “Koza” which means box or treasure, KOOZA goes back to the very roots of Cirque Du Soleil’s performances, combining thrilling, heart-stopping acrobatic performance with the art of clowning. KOOZA’s story follows “The Innocent” who represents the child within us all, as he takes a journey of self-discovery through a kingdom of eccentric characters, electrifying thrills and out-of-the-box surprises.
KOOZA will feature its international cast of 50 acrobats emerging from a magical box as acrobats, musicians, singers and actors from 19 different countries perform astonishing feats and laugh-out-loud antics to a live soundtrack fusion of jazz, funk and Bollywood beats. With its infinite string of colourful surprises and awe-inspiring delights, KOOZA springs open like a bejeweled toy box to capture the audience’s imagination and set pulses racing.
