Love TV shows like The Blue Planet or Planet Earth? Over at the S.E.A. Aquarium, National Geographic will be presenting Ocean Wonders from 10 March to 20 May. At the exhibition, fuel your brain with new knowledge about some of the most fascinating marine species living underwater. Photography enthusiasts should keep an eye out for the aquarium’s newest resident – the sand tiger shark, looking like a savage beauty with its rows of ragged teeth, and get a chance to snap shots of him during a photo trail, which will also provide tips on how to capture images of creatures in the water. Post your photo up on Instagram, and you’ll even stand a chance of winning some great prizes.

The inaugural National Geographic Ocean Exploration Children’s Workshop will also arrive on the scene to turn kids into explorers, and learn all about the importance of global conservation and features guided tours, exclusive documentary screenings and interactive activities at both S.E.A. Aquarium and the revamped Maritime Experiential Museum.

Finally, at the Maritime Museum, look out for a chance to become a Junior Maritime Explorer. Aimed at kids aged 7 – 12, join your four fearless guides at the revamped Maritime Experiential Museum as they take you a journey along the Maritime Silk Route. Participants will get a chance to become a star reporter and even appear on TV. All you have to do is submit a short news-report-style video on a maritime event, or even on the museum itself. The lucky winner will even get to meet and interview National Geographic Explorer Erika Bergman, bring her on a tour of the Maritime Experiential Museum, and be featured in a National Geographic video alongside Erika.
