Hyperplay, ASEAN’s first integrated esports and music festival takes place this August. Besides the first ASEAN League of Legends competition seeing youths from all 10 countries compete at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, an entire lineup of electrifying music acts are set to light up the stage and add more hype to your play.
The first wave of performers for the MTV Spotlight concerts have just been announced, headlined by South Korean vocalist and rapper superstar CL, formerly of mega K-pop sensation 2NE1, alongside leading Thai rock band Slot Machine, Indonesian idol Afgan and even local favourite The Sam Willows.
The two-day ticketed event is organised as part of ASEAN Singapore 2018 and YOUTHx, powered by Riot Games and MTV and presented by the Singapore Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) and the National Youth Council (NYC) of Singapore, uniting the two biggest pop culture pillars of this generation, esports and music, into a single weekend event.
