This September, Cultural Medallion winner and “Queen of the Toy Piano” Margaret Leng Tan joins the re:Sound Collective in an evening of intimate music centred around toys and the toy piano.

Expect toy themed tunes throughout the night such as Haydn’s Toy Symphony to the world premiere of an all new arrangement of Stephen Montague’s ‘A Toy Symphony’, which will incorporate the toy piano. The world’s leading exponent of the music of John Cage, Margaret Leng Tan will also bring you on a wonderful journey of miniatures for toy piano and chamber ensemble, including gems by Erik Satie, Philip Glass and John Cage. With Toy Toy Toy!, come find out just how fun classical music can be when you add a dose of toys into the mix!
