In light of the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the European Union in Singapore announces the postponement of the 30th edition of the European Union Film Festival (EUFF), to May 2021. The festival was scheduled to take place from 13th to 24th May 2020. The 30th edition of Festival will return in May 2021 at National Gallery Singapore, who has been the EUFF’s venue partner since 2017.

Says European Union Ambassador to Singapore Barbara Plinkert: “In light of the rapidly evolving Covid-19 situation, we have decided to postpone the 30th edition of EUFF to May 2021. In these complex and unprecedented times, the safety of each and every one of our stake-holders, our student volunteers and cine-lovers who make the festival what it is, is of utmost importance to us. We intend to continue working closely with our venue partner National Gallery Singapore and return with an even stronger festival next year.”
