4. We’ll Carry On (MDC50 Edition) – A special remake of the theme song to commemorate 50 years of National Service (NS50) by four former NSFs with MDC. The original song was composed by MDC’s Dominic Chin, who was serving his National Service (NS) in MDC at the time. He also sang the original version with two former NSFs with MDC in 2017 – Jayesh Melvani and Aaron Bunac. All three are back for this MDC50 edition, together with another former NSF with MDC – Jerry Galeries. Since they completed their National Service (NS), Dominic is now a full-time artiste and singer-songwriter with MDC, Aaron and Jayesh have been active as part of local acappella group The Island Voices and Jerry has also released his own original music.
5. Out of the Shadows – An inspiring song about overcoming life’s challenges and realising that you are never alone. Written by Dominic Chin, RINES, and Gail Belmonte, this track features vocals by Gail Belmonte and PTE Tan E-Jie Jeyes (NSF), with music arrangement by Joel Sim.

All the songs in the album were mastered in Dolby Atmos at SOUNDLABS, MDC’s Dolby Atmos studio. The Dolby Atmos versions, exclusively available on Apple Music, provide an elevated music listening experience with enhanced spatial depth and clarity.
For co-producers Dominic Chin and RINES, the album celebrates how MDC has evolved over these past 50 years – a journey of great music and friendships.
“This album is different from the previous songs I had worked on for MDC because we could feature all the singers from MDC, including our NSF choir, in songs like Warriors, Out of the Shadows and I’ll Be There,” said Dominic, who also wrote and featured in the original version of We’ll Carry On for NS50. He adds, “This was such an enriching experience, because I got to work with different types of sounds and voices. Working with other songwriters like RINES and Gail, and seeing our ideas coming together in a song, was very exciting for me.”
RINES echoes her sentiments. She said, “It was refreshing to work with different people, and explore new ideas for songwriting and production together. More importantly, I love how MDC came together to bring this album to life.”
