Local movie I NOT STUPID 3 《小孩不笨3》, helmed by Singapore’s most commercially successful director Jack Neo, scores the 2nd highest opening day for Asian films this year!
The third instalment from the renowned franchise I NOT STUPID 《小孩不笨》 collected S$56,000 on its first day, the only film that ranked behind Chinese New Year movie MONEY NO ENOUGH 3 《钱不够用3：全部够用》, a drama-comedy also by Neo. I NOT STUPID 3 was released on 6 June.

In the film, Zi Hao, a Chinese Primary 6 student in Singapore, faces academic pressure when his classmate Jayden frames him for cheating to maintain his top-ranking status. Meanwhile, Zi Hao’s mother, Wen Ting, is falsely accused of illegal work by Jayden’s competitive mother, Sophia. Amidst the turmoil, the two mothers realise the toll on their sons and unite to prioritise their well-being over grades, fostering reconciliation.
I NOT STUPID 3 stars a new line-up of actors including Hu Jing, Jae Liew, Camans Kong, Goh Wee-Ann, Zhou Yu Chen, Joseph Ng, Glenn Yong, Terence Cao, Collin Chee , Selena Tan, Xixi Lim and Patricia Mok. I NOT STUPID 《小孩不笨》 was first released in cinemas on 9 Feb 2002; while I NOT STUPID TOO 《小孩不笨2》 was subsequently released on 26 Jan 2006.
