Preview: Singapore Art Book Fair 2025

The Singapore Art Book Fair (SGABF) is returning for its 11th edition from 31 October to 2 November 2025, marking its most ambitious edition to date. For the first time, the fair will span two venues at Tanjong Pagar Distripark: the newly opened New Art Museum Singapore and Whitestone Gallery.

Since its founding in 2013, SGABF has grown into one of Asia’s leading platforms for contemporary art publishing, bringing together artists, designers, independent presses, zinemakers, and institutions. This year’s expanded edition continues that mission with a record 126 exhibitors from Singapore and across the globe, including Argentina, Egypt, Greece, Japan, South Korea, Spain, Turkey, the US, and Vietnam. Visitors can expect a dynamic mix of artists’ books, zines, photobooks, monographs, and print ephemera.

Alongside the exhibitor showcase, SGABF2025 will also introduce:

Workshops: Hands-on sessions in bookbinding and printmaking, designed to give visitors a deeper engagement with the craft of art publishing. (Pre-registration required.)

The Thing Books Residency Showcase: The debut presentation of new projects by three artists-in-residence, curated by Thing Books, offering a glimpse into the creative possibilities of artist books.

“Moving forward from the 10th Anniversary Edition, we want the audience to have a deeper engagement with the materiality of the book medium,” said Renée Ting, founder of Thing Books and director of SGABF. “Our hope is to grow a thoughtful, connected community around the culture of art books and zines, and nurture the practices that shape it.”

Singapore Art Book Fair 2025 runs from 31st October to 2nd November 2025, 12-8PM at New Art Museum Singapore | Whitestone Gallery, 39 Keppel Road, #05 -03/06, Tanjong Pagar Distripark, Singapore 089065. More information available here
