SFC returns this year with its fifth instalment, titled Combat Redefined on 8 April at the Singapore Foochow Association.

Promising a bigger and better show, SFC 5 will see a total of 14 matches from multiple martial arts disciplines including professional boxing, both amateur and professional MMA, and K1 kickboxing with some of the best fighters from Southeast Asia and the world, including Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, The Philippines, Thailand, United States of America and Croatia as they go head to head and showcase their prowess in an exciting night not to be missed.

Headlining the event is Singapore’s very own Muhammad ‘The Chosen Wan’ Ridhwan, who has a record of at least 140 amateur boxing bouts, three SEA Games Bronze Medals and an undefeated professional record. He will be going up against Indonesia’s Waldo Sabu who has over 18 fights under his belt for the WBA Asia Featherweight Championship title. History will be made again at SFC as Ridhwan will be the first male Singaporean ever to contend for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Asia Super Featherweight Championship Belt.  Previous WBA title holders include Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield.

Making her professional debut is Malaysia’s Lee Ai Jin who has brought many victories back home, including the SEA Games Bronze Medal in 2011. The 33-year old will be taking on Kongsang Phalum from Thailand for her first female professional bout. Check out the full matchup in the graphic below, and get your tickets to the event!
