CHEF: Bibimbap vs. Chilli Crab is a non-verbal food musical performance that uses live beatboxing and b-boying to tell the story of the Green and Red chefs locked in an intense battle of food know-how – with an extra generous serving of humour and fun! CHEF will star Singaporean celebrities Jayley and Hayley Woo, both playing the role of the Cutie Chef, in a local adaption of a new brand of “Bibap” that is set to bowl you over.
Directed and produced by Choi Chul Ki, mastermind behind all-beatboxing, all-b-boying extravaganzas that have been successfully brought to Singapore like NANTA, CHEF: Bibimbap vs. Chilli Crab will feature even more crazy choreography, music and madcap antics into the original Korean “Bibap”, which premiered to huge commercial acclaim in 2011.
Korea or Singapore? Will it be Bibimbap or Chilli Crab to emerge as the winner? Time to pick up your spatulas, take sides and cook off!
