Tennis fans rejoice! The WTA Finals returns to the Sports Hub once again this October!
Taking place from 22nd – 29th October, the very best players in women’s tennis will battle it out in the year-end highlight of the WTA season. The Top 8 Singles players and Top 8 Doubles teams will compete for a record US$7 million in prize money, along with the prestigious Billie Jean King Trophy and the Martina Navratilova Doubles Trophy respectively. Some of the confirmed players include Venus Williams, Johanna Konta, Kristina Mladenovic, Karolina Pilskova and plenty more.
Start the festivities rolling on Friday, 20th October with the WTA Finals festival. The festival opens with the glitzy public event – the Singles Draw Ceremony, where the tennis stars will be dressed to the nines as they eagerly await to see their matchups in front of a live audience. For those who missed it or just can’t get enough of the action, the Doubles Draw will take place just four days later on 24th October, where the Doubles matchups will similarly be drawn in front of a live audience. Fans in attendance can even meet these stars and have their photos taken with them, alongside other tennis-themed activities over at the specially curated Fan Village.
