Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR) has launched M Brew and M Wines, their own speciality beer and wine label exclusively at its six Singapore properties.
M Brew is brewed on home ground by the famed Archipelago Brewery, best known for their cheekily named beers inspired by Singapore. This special craft brew is a full-strength 5.0% ABV beer, infused with a fragrant pandan emulsion that delivers an aromatic, vanilla-like finish, along with an aroma of coconut and caramel-type or roasted malt. To bring M Brew to a wider audience of craft beer enthusiasts, the beer will also be showcased at Beerfest Singapore from 27th to 30th June 2019, under the Archipelago Brewery banner.
Two brand new house pours have also been launched together with M Brew to excite the palate of guests dining at the six Singapore properties of Millennium Hotels & Resorts. A Cabernet Sauvignon and a Sauvignon Blanc with a 2018 vintage from Australia’s Buronga Hill Estate in New South Wales have been handpicked as the first two M Wines. These well-rounded wines can complement a wide range of dishes; the Cabernet Sauvignon has a subtle oak finish of chocolate and vanilla that is particularly delightful with savoury meats, while the crisp and clean Sauvignon Blanc is excellent with seafood.

To commemorate the launch of M Wines, Millennium Hotels and Resorts has developed an exclusive food and wine pairing selection, curated for local palates and available at the various dining outlets across its six local properties. Guests can savour the full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with a classic Crispy Roasted Duck at Hua Ting at Orchard Hotel or a tender Pork Knuckle at Beast & Butterflies, located at M Social. The refreshing Sauvignon Blanc perfectly complements the char-grilled Octopus at Grand Copthorne Waterfront’s Grissini as well as the creamy Butternut Lobster Bisque with VSOP at M Hotel’s Café 2000.
On our end, we thought that it makes complete sense for Millennium Hotels to launch their own brew and wine labels, something to truly call their own. Branding is and always will be so important when it comes down to products, and now, more than ever, we feel more connected to the brand.
