October on the BBC means a new slew of shows to suit audience members of all backgrounds, and a perfect end to a long day at work. For starters, satisfy the inner sleuth in you as crime drama – Grantchester returns for a brand new season this month. With new mysteries and secrets surfacing in their little town of Cambridgeshire, Reverend Will Davenport (Tom Brittney) and Inspector Geordie Keating (Robson Green) must once again band together and put their wits to the test to protect the towns folk.

Awaken the nature enthusiast within as you check out baby chimps in BBC Earth’s brand new series – Baby Chimp Rescue. Get a glimpse into the lives of Jenny and Jim, along with their 29 orphaned baby chimpanzees to find out just how these dedicated adoptive parents take care of their giant family.

Finally, indulge in the finer things in life by looking at some of the most extravagant architecture and designs in the world. From hotels to trains and even private jets, World’s Most Luxurious will give you an inside look into the lives of the super-rich.

Baby Chimp Rescue
Jenny and Jim Desmond are parents to an unusual and very large family – 29 orphaned baby chimpanzees. Their home in Liberia is rapidly becoming too small for this rambunctious troop of animals, so they’re building a sanctuary in the forest. But before the babies can move out, they need to learn how to live like wild chimps. Welcome to Baby Chimp School. Here lessons are taught by Jim, Jenny and chimp expert Ben Garrod. Star pupils include Max, the cheeky future alpha male who is easily distracted; Ella, the youngest and a fast learner; and Lucy, the cleverest, who helps teach the others what to do.
