Music Is: Engelbert Humperdinck to serenade fans with first-ever Christmas Special

LAMC Productions has announced that international superstar Engerbert Humperdinck will perform his very first Christmas Special on December 12th, 2020, Saturday / 13th December, 2020, Sunday. The Livestream broadcast of Engelbert Humperdinck’s performance will be accompanied by a series of video Meet & Greet sessions presented via Looped.

In a career spanning almost 50 years, Engelbert has generated sales in excess of 140 million records, including 64 gold albums and 23 platinum, four Grammy nominations, a Golden Globe, and stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Las Vegas Walk of Fame. He has performed for the Queen four times and many heads of state. He has recorded everything from the most romantic ballads to movie theme songs, disco, rock, and even gospel. His unique voice has charmed millions of fans around the globe.

Engelbert exploded onto the music scene in the sixties with The Beatles and the Rolling Stones. The shy handsome boy catapulted almost instantly to world icon. He became great friends with Elvis Presley and the two legends often performed each other’s songs. His first single in the charts was “Release Me,” which went into the Guinness Book of Records for achieving 56 consecutive weeks on the charts.

Some of his best known songs are “Release Me,” “The Last Waltz,” “After the Lovin’,” “This Moment in Time,” “A Man Without Love,” among many others. Recently he has broken records by having Universal Music release an 11 CD box set of his original Decca Studio albums, a 2-D set, plus his independent albums “The Man I Want to Be” and “Reflections,” and a holiday album, “Warmest Christmas Wishes.” Engelbert’s music has transcended time and his voice still continues to reach out to people now – serving to transport and inspire, to embrace and to provoke feelings and emotions…ingredients that are no doubt the essence of his long-lasting success.
