This March, Singapore Dance Theatre (SDT) will be presenting their SDT Choreographic Workshop showing, as they turn the spotlight on company dancers Etienne Ferrère, Timothy Ng and Reece Hudson, who will be presenting original choreographies at the showing.

Initiated in 2021 as an annual collaboration between SDT and budding choreographers, the SDT Choreographic Workshop has seen and groomed many talents. It differs from other dance workshops as its intention is to build on developing choreographic language through a sense of exploration, rather than achieving a finished work for performance.

Initiated in 2021 as an annual collaboration between SDT and budding choreographers, the SDT Choreographic Workshop has seen and groomed many talents.

Joining them at the showing are local choreographers Christina Chan and Rachel Lum. Christina Chan has choreographed pieces for SDT for over 9 years. Meanwhile, Rachel Lum is the cofounder of Decadance, a Singaporean based contemporary dance company that pursues collaborative and multidisciplinary works, aspiring to connect different art forms and communities. Both choreographers will be presenting World Premiere choreographies at the showing.

Made In Singapore runs from 11th to 13th March 2021 at the SDT Founder’s Studio, at Bugis+ Level 7. Tickets and more information available here
