Preview: Fat Kids Are Harder To Kidnap 2023 by How Drama

How Drama’s Fat Kids Are Harder to Kidnap ® is back for its 15th year. As always, the tried and tested format remains blissfully the same, with a marathon 31 plays in an hour, where YOU decide the order of the plays!

This edition of Fat Kids features the talented cast of Ross Nasir, Pavan J Singh, Nicholas Bloodworth, Teoh Jun Vinh and Tiara Yap, who will tackle everything from the perils of renting a black and white bungalow to the excitement of the up-coming presidential election.

Featuring sketches directed by Melissa Sim, and co-written by Jeremy Au Yong and Melissa Sim with contributions from the cast, come with your family and friends and enjoy this interactive performance, where you determine the plays that you want to watch from your seat. Shouting will be required.

“Do join us for a laugh. It’s going to be our most populist edition yet,” says How Drama’s co-artistic director Melissa Sim.

The show has travelled to Paris, Washington DC, and Oslo and was nominated best in theatre at the Sydney Fringe Festival 2019 And Melbourne Fringe Festival 2020.
