Preview: Now You See Me Live by Base Entertainment Asia

If you thought the Now You See Me films were mind-bending on screen, wait until the magic steps off the silver screen and onto the stage. This February, Singapore becomes the epicentre of illusion as Now You See Me Live makes its Asia premiere at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, and it promises to blur the line between reality and the impossible.

Inspired by Lionsgate’s wildly successful magic-heist film franchise, Now You See Me Live transforms cinematic spectacle into a high-octane live experience. Expect explosive illusions, death-defying stunts, cutting-edge technology and jaw-dropping sleight of hand, all delivered at a pace that never lets your heart rate settle.

Helming it all are The Four Horsemen: four of the world’s most extraordinary illusionists, uniting on stage for the very first time in Singapore. Collectively, they’ve performed thousands of shows across hundreds of cities, including sold-out residencies on Broadway and in Las Vegas. Individually, they are forces of nature.

Italy’s Andrew Basso, a master escape artist and the youngest Italian to win the World Escape Championship, is known for pushing his body—and audiences—to the brink with perilous feats. Gabriella Lester of Canada, the youngest and only female Horseman, stunned the magic world when she mastered Houdini’s infamous upside-down straight-jacket escape at just 14. From the UK, Matthew Pomeray fuses sleek technology with razor-sharp sleight of hand, redefining what modern magic looks like. Rounding out the quartet is Spain’s Pablo Cánovas, an international prodigy whose spellbinding artistry has earned him titles such as “Golden Magician” and “Heir of Illusion”.

Created by the powerhouse team behind Broadway’s record-breaking hit The Illusionists, this all-new production is not a retelling of the films but a bold reimagining. Solo performances collide with grand-scale illusions, unexpected twists and moments that will have you questioning what you just saw… and how it could possibly be real.

Following overwhelming demand, the season has already been extended, giving audiences more chances to witness the spectacle. Running from 20 February to 8 March 2026, Now You See Me Live is designed for families, thrill-seekers and anyone who loves being astonished.

As creative producer Simon Painter puts it, the Four Horsemen “push the boundaries of stage magic to the absolute edge.” And that edge is exactly where this show lives—fast, fearless and fantastically unpredictable. In a world where we think we’ve seen it all, Now You See Me Live dares to prove us wrong.

But as with all things magical, you have to see it to believe it.

Now You See Me Live plays from 20th February to 8th March 2026 at the Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands. Tickets and more information available here
