Bhumi Collective is proud to present the Singporean premiere of Duncan Macmillan’s Every Brilliant Thing, a hit at the 2014 and 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festivals and receiving critical acclaim.
Starring in this one-man play is 2017 Life! Theatre Award Best Actor nominee Andrew Marko (Falling, Rent), and will portray a six-year old boy attempting to come up with a list of 1000 ‘brilliant things’ for his mother struggling with depression and suicidal tendencies. Playing at Centre 42’s Black Box, Bhumi Collective promises that the play’s intimate setting and relatable themes will almost certainly resonate with audience members.
Directed by Yellow Chair Productions and Bhumi Collective founder Mohamad Shaifulbahri, prepare to witness a heartrending play about depression and the lengths we’re willing to go to for the ones we love, based on true (and untrue) stories.
Every Brilliant Thing plays at the Centre 42 Blackbox from 18-23 April. Tickets available here
