Are you working in the city? Does the weekend seem just out of grasp each time Friday comes along? The Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre is here to make your weekends swing by just a little bit faster with the introduction of the all new TGIF Music Station!

Held every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month, TGIF Music Station brings together some of the very best local Chinese musicians as they perform and host their very own 45-minute sets in each performance. With two sessions in each iteration in the afternoon and evening, you’ll definitely want to be taking time out of your busy schedule to catch some of these talents in action.

Besides appealing to the younger crowd with musicians such as the bubbly Lin Si Tong, rocker Ling Kai and various members of the wildly popular MiCapella, feel free to invite members of the family from other generations too. They’ll be more than thrilled at the prospect of getting to see artists such as veteran xinyao singer Pan Ying and Fei Yu Qing expert Xie Sheng Zhi.

With so many different artists and genres coming down to pour their heart and soul out in each song, you can expect full crowds of all ages and ardent fans coming down to support the many homegrown talents we have. Best of all though, every performance is completely free of charge! Say goodbye to dull days at the CBD, and come on down to the SCCC every alternate Friday to fill yourself with good vibes; you’ll be dancing away to the beat and straight into the weekend.

TGIF Music Station takes place every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, 1 Straits Boulevard, Singapore 018906. Admission is free. For the full lineup and schedule, visit the SCCC website here
