Dining Goes Full Throttle As Marina Bay Sands Enters Race Season This September

This September, Marina Bay Sands is all set to transform into one of the premier destinations for the upcoming F1 Night Race! Expect stylish parties and attractive dining specials galore across the entire district, as race season returns during the weekend of 14th – 16th September 2018.

At Adrift by David Myers, an all exclusive four-course set dinner (S$68++) will be made available from 14th – 16th September, where diners can even opt for an additional Dom Perignon package ($300++) for endless flutes of premium champagne. Additionally, on 16 September (12pm – 3.30pm), diners can relish in an extravagant seafood brunch buffet with free-flow Dom Perignon (S$318++), alongside a choice of main course from the brunch menu, best enjoyed alongside Adrift’s live screenings of all the exciting race action.

At Bread Street Kitchen and Bar, take in the race action with a special snacks and drinks menu featuring sharing plates such as Flatbread with caramelized onion, Taleggio cheese, chorizo and rocket pesto(S$22++) and Mini fish and chips with tartar sauce (S$18++), alongside champagne deals at 40 per cent off, or opt for a refreshing Rosso or Blanco Vermouth with Tonic (S$16++).

Make a pit stop at LAVO Singapore, soaking up the race vibes with its signature party bash; start off with a dinner party on 14th September, savour an Italian American brunch or watch the live screenings of the race action over dinner on 15th and 16thSeptember. End the night on a high note with as LAVO’s weekly party series, Saturday Soiree, returns with a specially themed F1 party with a guest DJ on September 15th. On 16th September, LAVO will also present its famous party brunch from New York, with DJ Miles Slater on the decks all day, get bubbly with an indulgent champagne brunch buffet (S$178++; 2pm to 5pm) and end off the weekend with LAVO’s  “Get The Party Started” against the spectacular backdrop of the city skyline.

LAVO will also be offering a brand new brunch service, with mid-day offerings such as Ricotta Pancakes topped with homemade blueberry jam and the LAVO Toast-Lah, a fun twist on the traditional Singapore kaya toast, while guests will even be able to order LAVO favourites such as its signature one-pound meatball during brunch service.

The all new Nostra Cucina has also just opened its doors at Marina Bay Sands, serving up authentic Italian regional cuisine using heritage recipes and time-honoured techniques from executive chef Peter Birks. Guests can look forward to lunchtime delights such as grilled paninis or a Torta Flambee Pizza with smokey bacon, sour cream and onions. Come dinnertime, relish in rich Italian flavours such as an anti-pasti of Vitello Tonnato: Slow Roasted Veal Loin (S$38++), before enjoying luscious mains such as Wagyu Bistecca with radicchio, anchovy and salsa verde (S$65++) and Confit Duck Leg with spiced cous and kumquat mostarda (S$48++). End off with a sweet finish with desserts such as Almond Panna Cotta with seasonal fruit compote and crushed amoretti biscotti (S$15++) and Dark Chocolate Tart with caramel sauce and coco nib brittle (S$15++). Guests can also enjoy special concoctions featuring house-made citrus liqueurs, as well as the restaurant’s signature Nostra Spritz (S$22++), reinventing the classic Aperol Sprit with Sipsmith sloe gin and Cointreau, topped with fresh blueberries.

Finally, at classic American restaurant The Bird Southern Table and Bar, there’ll be an all new series of daily promotions through the week. Cheer yourself up with an “All-You-Can-Eat” Lewellyn’s Fine Fried Chicken special (S$28++) and enjoy the signature Bourbon Blackberry Lemonade at S$10++, while whisky lovers can go for one-for-one drinks on ‘Whisky Wednesdays’, and enjoy fine wines at half price on Thursdays. Also new is an all-day bar bites menu, with 10 delectable snacks perfect for sharing. Check out the new Crispy Fried Pork Skin (S$10++), a massive sheet of crackling pork skin dusted in smoked spice, vinegar powder, and served with a honey hot sauce and lime dip, while one can also enjoy the Fried Chicken Bao (S$12++), featuring a piece of juicy five-spice chicken topped with Sichuan mayo and sandwiched between fluffy buns. For the first time ever, they’ll also be partnering up with champagne vintage house Duval-LeRoy to offer a family-style champagne brunch (S$128++) on 16th September, pairing dishes like the 100-year old recipe Lewellyn Fine-Fried Chicken, Mac N Cheese, and fluffy Classic Buttermilk Biscuits with a glass of bubbly. Throughout the race weekend, The Bird will also be offering bottles of Duval-Leroy at S$98++, and the indulgent Fried Oysters and Caviar at S$18++ for three.
