
LONDON – Coinciding with the 20th birthday of the much-loved picture book, Tall Stories is bringing back their hit musical adaptation of The Gruffalo, with a UK tour and limited ten-week West End season at The Lyric Theatre, London.
Originally written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler, The Gruffalo was adapted for the stage by Tall Stories in 2001 and has continued to delight audiences all around the world. Join the brave Mouse on a daring adventure through the deep, dark wood as she encounters the cunning Fox, the eccentric old Owl and the high-spirited Snake. Will the story of the terrifying Gruffalo save Mouse from ending up as dinner for these hungry woodland creatures? After all, there is no such thing as a Gruffalo…or is there?
Directed by Toby Mitchell, with a cast comprising Jake Addley, Rebecca Newman, Elliot Rodriguez and Ashley Sean-Cook, expect songs, laughs and monstrous fun from this fun musical experience, sure to delight both the kids and kids at heart.
