Sing’theatre is back with a witty musical revue that tackles modern love in all its forms: from the perils and pitfalls of the first date to marriage, children, and the twilight years of life. Fall in (or out of) love with us with I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change.

Told in a series of vignettes and songs, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change traces the overall arc of relationships throughout life. Set in Singapore, this insightful and hilarious musical will have audience members relating to it, as they laugh, cry and feel alongside this diverse cast of characters.

“We spend a good part of our life looking for perfect love, but as soon as we think we have found it, we spend even more time wanting to change the loved one!” says producer Nathalie Ribette. “I watched this show in Edinburgh over the summer and was convinced that Singapore needed to experience this gem of a musical! This is not just a show of love but more of life! Whether you are 16 or 60, you will laugh & cry with this amazingly hilarious musical!”

Directed by TJ Taylor, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change stars Andrew Marko, Benjamin Chow, Rebekah Sangeetha Dorai and Misha Paule Tan. Join them and Sing’theatre on this journey through the beauty, ugliness, hilarious and everything in between, of relationships and life. “This show represents so many aspects of modern Singapore life. We fall in love with the latest trend, post to the world that it’s perfect, and then 5 minutes later, it’s time to change and move on to the next new thing. This satirical and hilarious musical will engage audiences from start to finish, told by a cast of some of Singapore’s best actors!” says TJ.

I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change plays from 19th to 30th April 2023 at Alliance Française Theatre. Tickets available from SISTIC
