Following a sold-out run of 13 shows in 2022, Nine Years Theatre’s (NYT) hit show See You, Anniversary returns to the stage in 2025, once again inviting audiences to immerse themselves in this heartwarming and thought-provoking production.

With a five star review from us back when we watched it in 2022, ranking among the best new shows of the year, See You, Anniversary follows the love story of a couple who are dedicated to celebrating their anniversary every year. Performed by NYT co-founders and real-life married couple Mia Chee and Nelson Chia (also writer/director of the show), See You, Anniversary reminds us that, at various life stages with shifting priorities, how we can reconnect with and reaffirm our core purpose through the act of remembering, and that it’s the little things that sometimes matter most in life’s long journey.

Under Chia’s direction, See You, Anniversary emphasises the importance of cherishing the present. This play reminds audiences to treasure their relationships — whether familial, romantic, or friendships — as love and connection form the essence of life’s romance.

There is a deliberate choice to premiere the show during Valentine’s Day; not only is it just because the show is about love, but NYT is also partnering with local restaurant The Masses, known for its fusion of French and Asian delights, to offer an exclusive “Premium (Double) – Dine and Theatre Date” package in limited quantities. This special experience includes dining for two, with a curated menu inspired by See You, Anniversary, along with premium seating at the theatre, a set of “Beginnings” and “Eternity” tea by Pek Sin Choon, and a bottle of high-quality wine from CornerStone Wines.

NYT would like to offer audiences more than just a performance — a thoughtfully curated experience that goes beyond the theatre. By partnering with The Masses, they aim to recreate the magic of Kelvin and Annie’s first date at a French restaurant, as portrayed in See You, Anniversary. This special package offers the perfect opportunity for a night or day out, where people can enjoy quality time together with a theatre performance and a dining experience, creating moments worth cherishing and remembering. For audiences who prefer to attend the performance only, there are two other premium packages: “Premium (Double) – Theatre Date only” and “Premium (Single)”. Both options offer premium seating and include the same gifts as the dining package.

In line with NYT’s belief that the audiences should not merely consume art, but also given the opportunity to discuss art, post-show “Drink and Talk” session will be held after every performance. Audiences will have the opportunity to engage in casual conversations with the cast and director over tea and wine, courtesy of Pek Sin Choon and CornerStone Wines.
