Base Entertainment Asia has announced the cast for the award-winning musical Dear Evan Hansen as the musical prepares for its Singapore Premiere at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands with a strictly limited season from 30 October to 16 November 2025.

This announcement follows the musical’s successful 32-venue tour across the United Kingdom, which played to more than a quarter of a million people. Previously, Dear Evan Hansen made its Singaporean and Southeast Asian premiere when staged by local theatre company Pangdemonium in 2024.

Hailed as a generation-defining musical, Dear Evan Hansen features a soul-stirring score by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (The Greatest Showman, La La Land) and a compelling book by Steven Levenson. Winner of the Tony® Award for Best Musical, the Olivier Award for Best New Musical, and the Grammy® Award for Best Musical Theatre Album, the musical has captivated audiences worldwide with its raw emotional power and unforgettable songs, including Waving Through a Window, You Will Be Found, and For Forever.

Leading the Singapore season is Ellis Kirk as Evan Hansen, returning to the role after appearing in the West End production. He is joined by Rebecca McKinnis as Heidi Hansen, reprising the role she played in the original London cast.

Joining them are a talented international cast: Zoë Athena as Zoe Murphy, Helen Anker as Cynthia Murphy, Hal Fowler as Larry Murphy, Rhys Hopkins as Connor Murphy, Tom Dickerson as Jared Kleinman, Olivia-Faith Kamau as Alana Beck, and Sonny Monaghan as Alternate Evan. Rounding out the company are Jake Halsey-Jones, Sheri Lineham, Joseph Peacock, Annie Southall, and Ashlyn Weekes.
