There seems to be no shortage of tasty food festivals here in Singapore! Hot on the heels of RWS Street Eats at the Malaysian Food Street, RWS will be collaborating with Savour Events to bring you The Great Food Festival this September!
Dubbed Singapore’s ‘most ambitious and wide-ranging food festival’ yet, the inaugural festival will take place from 21st – 24th September across various venues in RWS, and feature 30 award-winning chefs and restaurants with plenty of gastronomical experiences to be had.
There will be a total of five segments the festival is divided into. Check out the Star Chef Arena, where some of the very best chefs from all around the world will gather and present their masterpieces at affordable pries to visitors. From Cat Cora (Ocean) to Hal Yamashita (Syun), Sam Leong (Forest) to Lorenz Hoja (L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon), get a chance to try Michelin worthy dishes starting from just $10.
If you’re still hungry, head on over to the Heritage Lane, which will feature global culinary cultures with over 50 heritage-inspired dishes by a a global selection of award-winning chefs, using family recipes and heritage cooking methods passed down for generations. Some of these chefs include Han Li Guang (Labyrinth), Stephan Zoisl (Chef’s Table by Chef Stephan), and Matthew Mok (The Rabbit Stash), and dishes start from just $6.
Visitors looking for a more curated experience can sign up for the Feast of Kings, where they will get to indulge in a dining experience that features chefs like Susur Lee (Tung Lok) and Benjamin Halat (CURATE). Or for an even more exciting, rare team up, check out the Connoisseur Collection, where award-winning chefs from the Star Chef Arena will join forces with the Resident Chefs of RWS to create unique dining experiences, including team ups from Ben Spalding and Benjamin Halat at CURATE; Kristen Kish and Cat Cora at Ocean Restaurant by Cat Cora and Florian Favario and Scott Webster at Osia Steak and Seafood Grill.
And when you’re done with your main course, indulge your sweet tooth at Rollin’ Sweet Times, Asia’s largest consumer pastry and dessert showcase, with free masterclasses and the yummiest of sweet treats by the trendiest of bakers and dessert chefs to take home.
There’s so much great food and great experiences to be had at this four day food festival and you can assure top notch quality, considering the organisers have already done an amazing job with their flagship event SAVOUR each year.
