Preview: Michelin Guide Street Food Festival 2018

The second edition of MICHELIN guide Street Food Festival will feature a specially-curated line-up of 15 establishments recognised in the MICHELIN guide Singapore 2017

Receiving massive crowds and critical acclaim for their inaugural edition last year, Michelin and Robert Parker Wine Advocate return with the second edition of the Michelin Guide Street Food Festival this weekend!

Taking place over three days at The Coliseum at Resorts World Sentosa, a total of 15 establishments recognised in the Michelin Guide Singapore 2017 will be taking part in the festival and setting up booths. A rare chance to see all of these chefs and restaurants within such proximity of each other, each booth will be present the restaurant’s signature dishes, and feature a range of cuisines from Japanese to French.

Highlights this year include newcomers Man Man Unagi as they present their signature Una-Don, as well as New Ubin Seafood with their yummy Heart Attack Fried Rice. Even recognised hawker stalls will be joining in the festivities, with Traditional Haig Road Putu Piring, 168 CMY Satay and Zhong Guo La Mian Xiao Long Bao each presenting their speciality dishes.

As always, the big players and internationally renowned chefs will also be making a return, including RWS’ triple Michelin starred Joël Robuchon Restaurant, as well as local establishments such as A Noodle Story with Singapore-style ramen, Song of India’s Butter Chicken and Naan, as well as Peranakan restaurant Blue Ginger to end with a sweet finish with their Durian Chendol.

Tickets for the 2017 instalment, which was the inaugural edition, sold out within a few days.

Besides the appeal of having shorter queues, each of these signature dishes will be served at affordable, value-for-money prices starting from $3, ensuring that all patrons and guests have easy access to the countless scrumptious dishes available from each of these 15 establishments.
