Preview: Miloš – Spanish Romance presented by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra
This October, catch “the hottest guitarist in the world” as Miloš Karadaglić makes his Singapore debut at the Esplanade Concert Hall!
Conducted by Taiwanese-American conduct Carolyn Kuan (the first woman to be awarded the Herbert von Karajan Conducting Fellowship), Miloš Karadaglić is best known for his soulful rendition of guitar classics, leading to his chart-topping records and countless fans worldwide. An overnight success, Miloš has been hailed as “classical music’s guitar hero” (BBC Music Magazine), leading to collaborations with Sérgio Assad, jazz legend Gregory Porter, pop singer Tori Amos, cellist Steven Isserlis and sitar superstar Anoushka Shankar.
Audiences will even get a chance to meet Miloš up-close and personal in a autograph session, while the SSO itself will round off the concert with the Singapore Premiere of Liquid Interface for orchestra and electronica, alongside Rachmaninov’s Symphonic Dances, his final composition.
