Super Rugby 2019: HITO-Communications Sunwolves Set to Face Off Against 2018 Finalists The Lions This March
Following their previous match in February, the HITO-Communications Sunwolves are returning once more to the National Stadium this April for the second match of Super Rugby 2019 to be held in Singapore. This time around, they’ll be facing off against last year’s Super Rugby finalist – the Lions. Fans are encouraged to come support the teams and celebrate Sunwolves’ second and final home match here in Singapore this season.
Set to be led by Head Coach Scott Hansen, who will be covering Tony Brown while he is away on national duty with Japan, the Sunwolves are looking forward to bouncing back from their defeat against the Sharks in February and aim to bring with them a concise and detailed game plan to take down a strong South African side.
On the Lions side, the team has so far had a solid start to their 2019 campaign with a convincing win against the Argentinian side, Jaguares, in their opening match of the season. The resolute South African side will be heading to Singapore with a win on their mind and Head Coach Swys de Bruin will name an impressive squad led by Springboks player Warren Whiteley to achieve this goal. Who will emerge champions? Find out this March at Super Rugby 2019.
Super Rugby 2019 takes place on 16th February 2019 and 23rd March 2019 at the Singapore National Stadium. Tickets available here
