Hotels & Holidays: Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali Celebrates Double Win at the 2019 World Travel Awards

BALI, INDONESIA – Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali has just been named as Indonesia’s Leading Resort and Bali’s Leading Family Resort (second consecutive year) at the 2019 World Travel Awards Asia, which are recognised globally as a hallmark of industry excellence.

The family lifestyle resort, which is located within easy walking distance to the beach, graciously received both honours in a glittering Gala Ceremony held in Vietnam on 12th October 2019. Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali was selected ahead of 13 top hotels for the Indonesia’s Leading Resort category and ahead of 11 local hotels in the Bali’s Leading Family Resort category, including many respected global brands.

The awards were jointly accepted by Mr Horst Walther-Jones, General Manager of the Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali, and Mr Edwin Halim from Summarecon Agung Tbk, owning company of the property.

The World Travel Awards annual programme is renowned as the most prestigious and comprehensive in the global travel, tourism and hospitality sectors. The black-tie Gala Ceremony in Vietnam was attended by the industry’s key leaders and decision-makers, as well as trade and consumer media representatives. 

The winners of the 2019 World Travel Awards Asia & Oceania were selected based on a regulated voting process conducted from 25th March to 11th August 2019 that involved hospitality experts and consumers from around the globe.
