As Singapore’s most acclaimed Chinese chamber music ensemble, Ding Yi starts off 2020 on an auspicious note with a new edition of their annual Happy Chinese New Year Concert. Playing on 8th February at the China Cultural Centre, the concert will be conducted by Ding Yi Assistant Conductor Wong De Li, Dedric, and feature a special appearance from local singer-songwriter Nathan Hartono, who rose to fame in the Chinese music scene after finishing runner-up in the very first season of Chinese music reality television show Sing! China.

Ding Yi percussionist Derek Koh Wen Jun, a graduate of the prestigious Mannes School of Music, will be premiering and performing to his own composition specially commissioned for the concert, titled Flushing Chinatown 《法拉盛华埠》.
