Ever since 2008, How Drama has been entertaining audiences with their signature show Fat Kids Are Harder To Kidnap. And is the coronavirus gonna stop them? Absolutely not.
At the start of the circuit breaker, How Drama released a Stay Home For Singapore video to thank Coronavirus frontline workers and encourage Singaporeans to stay at home, receiving over 22,000 views on Facebook. Now, for one night only, How Drama will be presenting their very first digital, interactive and live version of Fat Kids Are Harder To Kidnap®.
As is traditional, the breakneck 30 minute show will comprise a marathon of sketches and playlets, squeezing a total of 15 into the given timeframe, each one passing commentary and witty observation on current affairs, with plenty of tongue-in-cheek humour.
The best part? YOU get to decide the order the actors get to perform the playlets, via popular vote. It’s challenging, hilarious, and above all, tons of fun. In this particular edition, get ready for brand new playlets focusing on their own spin on tele-working, social distancing and of course, the virus itself.
Directed by Melissa Sim, co-written by both Sim and Jeremy Au Yong, and starring Ross Nasir, Pavan J Singh, Nicholas Bloodworth, Victoria Chen and Vester Ng, sit back and relax for a perfectly safe, socially distant live production from the homes of each actor. Get ready for a night of fun, a few laughs and hopefully, zero technical difficulties.
Fat Kids Are Harder To Kidnap On Zoom plays on 20th June 2020, 9pm. Tickets available from Peatix
