This August, Singapore’s favourite comedy and cabaret trio are back to celebrate 20 years of Dim Sum Dollies. Comprising Selena Tan (Crazy Rich Asians, Shotgun Wedding, Chang & Eng), Pam Oei (Faghag, Tartuffe, Hotel) and Jo Tan (Tiong Bahru Social Club, King, Tartuffe), the three leading ladies will once again take to the Capitol Theatre stage, and charge full steam ahead with a brand new show, Still Steam.

Slated to whet your tastebuds in their full mouth-watering, delectable, umami goodness, get ready to burst into peals of laughter, with the Dim Sum Dollies’ unique brand of saucy satire. Joined by their loyal Chopstick, Hossan Leong, alongside 6 sexy “Low Mai Guys”, and a 5-piece band to rock your world, this is a full-scale piece of live entertainment to sate your hunger, post-COVID.

In Still Steam, the Dollies will be looking at all kinds of women issues, with Dolly favourites such as the giggling schoolgirls from MGS, RGS, SCGS and CHIJ (yes, even Hossan will be involved, women in the political arena like Rosmah, Imelda, Aung San Suu Kyi and Ho Ching, Fairy tale princesses, Nuns, Parking Pontianaks, SQ girls and plenty more. They say classics get better with age, and in this case, they get even better when served up with a couple of tantalizing twists.

It’s going to be an epic show you don’t want to miss. Join Dream Academy and the Dim Sum Dollies this August for an uproarious, ‘damn steam night’, as they celebrate their 20th anniversary in style.

Dim Sum Dollies: Still Steam runs from 26th August to 10th September 2022 at Capitol Theatre. Tickets available from BookMyShow
