Kenny Wax, Wendy and Andy Barnes, and George Stiles in association with Base Entertainment Asia are thrilled to announce the Singapore premiere of SIX the Musical at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands this November as the musical continues on its unstoppable journey to captivate audiences around the globe with its innovative and empowering take on history. Since its first staging in 2017, SIX has become a cultural phenomenon, redefining the boundaries of musical theatre and engaging audiences of all ages.

Created by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, SIX has taken the theatre world by storm. Its journey began at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017 and quickly transitioned to sold-out shows in London’s West End and on Broadway, and has continued to garner international recognition with productions in Australia, Canada, the United States, and beyond. The musical has also received well-served recognition from the industry, with numerous award nominations and wins, including 35 international awards. 

SIX reimagines the lives of the six wives of Henry VIII; Catherine of Argon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, Katherine Howards and Catherine Parr who step out of the shadow of their infamous husband and reclaim their own narratives through a modern pop-inspired musical that brings these historical figures to life, portraying them as fierce and influential pop stars in their own right. As Henry VIII’s six wives take to the mic to share their story, audiences will be taken on a journey that transforms centuries-old heartbreak into a celebration of 21st-century girl power. With its catchy tunes, empowering lyrics, and dazzling performances, SIX has garnered rave reviews and a dedicated global fan base since its inception.
