The Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre gets in on the Singapore Art Week action next January with two exciting programmes lined up for visitors. On 20th January 2019, join urban artist ANTZ in a workshop to discover the inner artist and learn all about spraying painting, and how to create contemporary artwork based on traditional Chinese themes and visuals.
Meanwhile, for two Saturdays, join the SCCC on an arts trail around the Central Business District to discover the various art pieces and installations that often go unnoticed amidst the hustle and bustle of activity and office workers milling these streets. Find the works of both local artists (located in the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre) and installations by overseas sculptors Kurt Laurenz Metzler and Gao Xiaowu (at Capitol Tower).
The ANTZ workshop runs on 20th January 2019, with tickets available here.
Exploring Art in Central Business District tours run on 19th and 26th January 2019, tickets available here
Singapore Art Week 2019 runs from 19th to 27th January 2018 across various locations. For the full line-up of events, visit their website here
