This September, get ready for a musical adventure like no other, as the Singapore Symphony Orchestra presents Peter and the Wolf in Hollywood. Watch this refreshing retelling of the classic children’s musical tale by Prokofiev, transported to modern-day Los Angeles – and now at the Esplanade with a big screen, as the Orchestra acompanies the film live. When a wolf escapes from the zoo, Peter is soon swept up in an exciting adventure involving a giant robot, a whirlwind helicopter chase, and of course, the hunt for the wolf.

Even if you’ve seen Peter and the Wolf before, you can look forward to seeing the further, or rather, previous adventures of the titular characters. In addition to the classic music by Prokofiev, the score also features works by Wagner, Mahler, Elgar, Puccini, Grieg and many more.
