For three spook-tacular days this October, Halloween thrill-seekers can delight in a spine-chilling gastronomic extravanganza at PARKROYAL on Pickering’s acclaimed Lime restaurant.
From 25th to 27th October 2019, the fourth instalment of the popular Halloween Scare-Feast will again provide intrepid diners with a creative culinary take on the October fright-fest as Chef Yap Wai Lunn serves up a spine-tingling repertoire of homemade dishes created to be as shocking on the eye as they are pleasing on the palette.
Your night of horror starts right from the get-go as you’ll be greeted by Lime service staff and chefs dressed as some of the scariest horror villians of all time. Bewitching starters such as Jack-O-Lantern Salad and Graveyard Cheese Platter are not for faint-hearted, while the Eyeball Salad with Roasted Tomato and Sweet Pepper Gazpacho is definitely a sight for sore eyes!
Creep over to the eerily-decked Ghost Ship Seafood Bar which will be spilling with crustacean delights such as Live Prawns, Black Mussels, Golden Clams, Whelks and Boston Lobsters. We are also dead serious about our selection of the finest meats and what better way to show it than at a Live Carving Station where flesh-eaters can help themselves to unlimited servings of Roadkill Roasted Baby Lamb, Spicy Tomato Paste Glazed Pork Rib, Beef Sirloin, and Gourmet Sausages.
Turn up the heat as they set stomachs ablaze with all-time favourites such as the Sze Chuan Hot and Sour Soup, Pickering Laksa Noodles and Claypot Assam Fish Fillet. This year, there’s also a new fiery Ma La Xiang Guo Station which will be serving up a unique take on the famous Chinese stir-fry of Enoki Mushroom, Lotus Root, Potato, Bean Curd Skin, Luncheon Meat, Onion, Black Fungus, Celery, and Braised Pork Intestine! The Steamed Chawanmushi with Veal Sweetbread is an option for those who prefer a little innards on the side, and if you’re not monstrously stuffed at this point, there’s also the popular Singapore Chilli Crab and Steamed Oysters served with an assortment of homemade dipping sauces.
Finally, end the meal on a gorily, bittersweet ending to the feast, with some Zombie Brains (Eton Mess), Witches Brew (Chendol),Choco-nana Coffin (Chocolate Banana Brownies) and Bloody Waterfall (Strawberry Chocolate Fondue).
