LONDON – Founded by Hayley Osborne and Phoebe Alice Ritchie, new production company Lotus Players is set to debut this May with debut production As We Unravel at the Bread and Roses Theatre, London.
Written by Annie Power and directed by Sassy Clyde, this new piece of writing stars Lotus Players founders Hayley Osborne and Phoebe Alice Ritchie, alongside actors Velenzia Spearepoint, Nance Turner and James Calloway, as three sisters come together in the wake of their mother’s death. Set in a rundown seaside town, the three siblings are forced to navigate debt, unemployment and questionable Airbnb guests in order to survive, each with their own struggles – Jemma wants out, Callie wants everything to stay the same and Luce is trying to hold it all together.
With a focus on highlighting and producing new writing, watch as the Lotus Players make their debut this May and tell this tale of keeping it together as these sisters face austerity, drug dealers and unexpected romance – can they shape their own future or is it out of their hands?
As We Unravel runs from 21st to 25th May 2019 at the Bread and Roses Theatre. Tickets available here
