Focusing on showcasing world-class flamenco artists, Admission Nation LLC presents Selene Muñoz at the Esplanade this October, as she brings together a fascinating fusion of musicality, costume design, and artistic collaborations across cultures and styles.

Selene Muñoz is a Danish/Spanish award-winning dancer and choreographer. Born in Spain, she started dance training when she was 4 years old.  Selene created her first dance production at 9 years of age.  At 14, she moved to Madrid to attend the renowned Flamenco Academy Amor de Dios. She then attended the Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza (Royal Conservatory of Dance), where she graduated in 2009. Most recently, Selene received the first title as ‘Member of Honor’ from The Spanish House in Denmark, together with the Ambassador of the Spanish Embassy in Denmark, and was also nominated as ‘Best Dancer of The Year’ in CPH Culture.

From the moment Selene and her impeccable cast step onstage, they promise to deliver one of the most flawless performances of the season. Known for her beauty and skill, Selene possesses mastery over her shoulders as she moves them in wild geometric patterns, and magnificent thundering footwork, as if her feet were a machine gun vault against the floor. Come discover the art of Spanish Flamenco, as Selene Muñoz and her team show you the beauty of the dance form at the Esplanade this October.
