Food For Thought: Valentine’s Day celebrations with Rang Mahal and Table Restaurant & Bar

Some say that love is the spice of life and this is what Rang Mahal conveys through its special 5-course Valentine’s Day dinner sets. Curated with the utmost care, its richness of flavours and delicate balance of ingredients and spices will be sure to elevate your evening’s tête-à-tête.
Ease into the evening with a Cabbage Consommé to whet appetites before savouring the Patrani Fish, a Parsi dish which features a delicious blending of Persian and Indian cuisines. In it, golden pomfret fillets with Chef’s special marinade are steamed in banana leaves to infuse each parcel perfectly with a blend of spices and nuanced flavours. Next, diners will savour a chargrilled pistachio-rubbed Lamb Chop accompanied with barley green pea pulao, quinoa, pomegranate, nihari sauce and other sides. An option for vegetarians will also available with the Patrani Tofu and moreish Plantain Kofta. To end the evening, discover the delicate range of flavours in the Orange Rasgula comprising stuffed orange and cottage cheese jelly, plum sauce and lychee kulfi.

Diners will start dinner off with a light and refreshing chef’s salad before tucking into mouth-watering dishes such as Tulsi Bhatti Murg, tender chicken cooked with basil, yoghurt and spices, Lasooni Prawns in a garlic marinade and Bharwan Murgh, tender chicken breast stuffed with a blend of raisins, ginger, chilli and coriander served on a bed of cashew and onion tapenade. Alternatively, vegetarians will relish the Kasundi Paneer Tikka, grilled homemade cottage cheese that has been marinated with mustard and spices, Malai Broccoli and Corn & Feta Cheese Tikki. All mains are accompanied by Palak Miloni, Dal Makhni, Kashmiri Pulao. To round off the hearty meal, indulge in Table Restaurant & Bar’s all-time favourite Walnut Brownie with Homemade Salted Caramel Ice Cream.
